Billy was big, burly, and worked his way right into your heart. He had been abandoned at a gas station in Shelby, MT. He spent several months at the shelter before coming to Pooch’z B&B on February 21, 2022. Billy was a Chow mix, about 10 years old, 90 pounds, but underweight. Due to age, pain from hip dysplasia and previous circumstances, Billy became a bite risk.
Billy’s kennel was adjacent to Marty and Rusty’s. Marty and Billy didn’t hit it off at first, but ended up being best of friends, along with Rusty the old red heeler. The 3 Musketeers played together in their yard, went on walks and daily trips to the field together. Amazing, the love and friendship shared by these once called misfits. They were a pack within a pack and when Billy passed away on February 10th, both Marty and Rusty mourned and missed him terribly. Billy will be greatly missed by all of us.
Run free, play hard and be a good boy, Billy…
