I’m Gus and I arrived at Pooch z, August 2, 2023. I’m a yellow lab, friendly and I turn 10 yrs old on Oct 10, 2023. My family had gone through some difficult times, but have worked hard at finding me a great forever home. I tried two foster homes previously. Both were nice, but I didn’t quite fit. A friend told my mom to contact Pooch’z. My foster was able to keep me until I could get in. So far, I’m getting to know my brothers Rusty, Marty and Hans. Its going to take Marty a while to like me.
He’s kind of an excitable dog that doesn’t like change, but I don’t care. I know I’ll win him over. The food is super yummy and I gobble it up. The fields are great and I love following the humans everywhere, getting pets and love. On Sep 1st both Hans and I had surgery. Hans’ front leg and my back leg. My tumor weighed a whooping 2 pounds. I have healed up, found a best friend and can keep up with Hans now. I’ll keep you posted on everything, but right now I gotta go on another walk about! Love it here…
