Rusty, a sweet heeler born in 2007, was adopted in November of 2015 by Cindy (mom) and Roxy ( the Catahoula girl). They became a close- knit family and Rusty enjoyed herding these two ladies anywhere and everywhere.
The humans and pack at Pooch’z and Perky Pawz had the privilege of knowing and loving Rusty. He was one of a kind and stole your heart. Rusty was extremely smart and inventive. He could work his way out of almost any apparatus the surgeon built for him. Even with all his pain, Rusty was always good natured and just wanted love. He looked forward to his and Roxy’s walks. Their companionship and devotion to each other was very apparent. The threesome went to their cabin frequently to hike and just hang out together. On November 16, 2024, Rusty crossed the rainbow bridge. Many hearts were broken, and a huge void was left in the lives of his family and friends.
