It is with many tears and hurting hearts to announce that Rusty crossed the Rainbow Bridge March 8, 2023,  He arrived at Pooch’z, May 28th, 2020, and his almost 17 yr old body (May 18, 2007) finally told him and us that it was time. He was a ranch dog out of Livingston, and we are sure his rancher was there to meet him with open arms when he crossed. He was as tough as nails, but sweet as honey. He was loved by so many and will be missed immensely by his pack, and especially by his buddies Marty and Denise. He went out with his boots on! ❤️

13 years young

Hi, I’m Rusty but they call me Longmire here at Pooch’z B&B. Maybe because of the way I walk, or my roughness around the edges. I don’t exactly follow the rules, but I have the best heart. I was surrendered to Stafford Animal Shelter and they adopted me out, but I was returned. I like to mark all over and I pee in the house because I have anxiety. Marge and Bill came right up and picked me up when they heard I needed a home. It’s been great here! I have a nice big kennel area in the garage where I can come and go outside to potty. I haven’t had an accident since. I love to work, so I try to help with all the chores, chasing the 4-wheeler, and watching the barn. I’m just an old ranch dog, but they love me for who I am and I love them!
