The rain came so fast in and at 4:30am, suddenly 4 ft of water had run into the basement where Bailey and Bandit live. When Gramma Sandi heard the barking, Bill jumped in to rescue them as they were floating on a couch and chair. The Emergency Evacuation Plan was initiated, volunteers were called, and they came to pick up their designated senior(s). The emergency totes, stored off site, for each senior dog were delivered by 10am and sump pumping commenced. The basement was dried out and the contractor has completed most all of it but the painting and floor. Those will be completed mid to end of September after our First Interstate community day . More to follow on the final remodel.
